RICHARD G REEN W O O D DERBYSH IRE
If Richard doesn’t make it as a concert pianist, he won’t be bothered. He says he’ll just play bars
and saloons. This may be fine and good, but some of us have wondered if, after a few weeks of
that scene, Richard being Richard and all, he won’t drop a few notes. Of course, Derbs has one
thing going for him. In this school where so many smart people are nothing but smart, Richard
has character. He can ski, he can sail, he can apres-ski, he can apres-sail. In fact, Richard can apres
just about anything. Whatever Richard does with his life, he will do it with a Derbyshire flavor.
DOUGLAS ROY DE SIMONE
I
Jorge is neither one of the smallest nor one of the quietest members of the class. Doug has, for
two years, been a member of the All-SENE Prep Football Squad, but will be remembered for his
kicking. To further complicate his severe case of jockitis, Des also plays goalie for Mr. Curtis in
the spring. He loves "bustin’ heads,” both on the field and off. Doug will go far in life, if he can
only harness some of his physical strength.
FRAN K PATRICK DUFFY, JR .
When Frank is not in the physics lab trying to disprove Newton’s Laws, or in the library checking
his picks against Jimmy the Greek’s in the morning paper, "the Chief” can be seen 'toolin
around” the East Side in his fire engine-red Celica GT. A mere handful of French fries or a bite of
your quarter-pounder suffices as an ample fee for a round trip ride to Mac’s. Although Frank is an
Eagle Scout of the finest degree, he has an uncanny knack for getting himself tied up in knots. In
his service to the soccer team, he has broken both thumbs and a leg. The luck of the Irish has
pulled through for him on Jo e’s lax squad however, as Duff is one of the mainstays on a fearsome
defense. Frank will certainly leave his mark on the Moses Brown community as one of the most
likeable and easy to-get-along with people. Just ask his mother.
