Swimming is becoming an increasingly pop­
ular sport at Delhaas. 'I’he girls were a little
late getting started this year, but many were
interested. Pictured here are the attractive
members of our girls’ swimming team.

W e do not have the opportunity to prac­
tice as often as we would like to, but
nevertheless, the team displays perfec­
tion in league competition. One of the
dives is caught by our TORCH pho­
tographer.

This is the second year our swimming
team has entered Inter-County competi­
tion. This sport was added to our inter­
scholastic athletic program after the
construction of the Bristol Township
Natatorium at Wilson High School.
These fine facilities have enabled our
teams to develop grace and skill. Al­
though a new sport to Delhaas, our
coaches hope to build a championship
team in the near future.
