        and  specific  abilities  in  these  fields.
          As  you  can  see,  Delhaas  has  a  well-
       balanced  curriculum  and  specific advan­
       tages  open  to  all.
          Co-curricular  activities  play  a  large
        part  in  the  success  of  any  school  year.
        Delhaas  offers  many kinds of  activities,
        for  all  interest  fields  and  abilities.  Our
        Varsity  and  Junior  Varsity  sports  are
        open to all who wish to participate,  and
        many  clubs  and  committees  present  ex­
        cellent opportunities for leadership. Del­
        haas  offers  everything  from  football  to
        Future Nurses Club and from swimming
        to  Radio  Club  to  tennis!  All  of  these
        organizations  work  together  with  fac­
        ulty  and  students  to help  produce well-
        rounded  citizens.




                                                Nancy  Irvine  was  so  engrossed  in  her  study  of  Spanish  she  didn’t  even  notice  the  pho­
                                                tographer.  Mrs.  Landa  tried  to  escape,  but  didn’t  quite  make  it.  Nancy  finds  much  time
                                                is  required  to  prepare  for  the  forthcoming  test.
