The Student-Teacher pro
gram is comparatively new
at Delhaas. Pennsylvania
State Uni ve r s i t y and
Bloomsbiirg State College
have sent us the largest
number of intern teachers
this year. The program is,
indeed, very helpful to
both Delhaas students and
the student teachers, and
we hope it continues for
many years.
Answering questions is actu
ally enjoyed by these students.
Sociology class is so interest
ing that they don’t mind the
work. Left to right: Nomi
Stein, Karen Klebe, Bonnie
Cohen, Roger Schell, and Mr.
Jones (Student Teacher).
Student Leaders are de
veloped in many ways.
They develop leadership
ability by chairmaning
classroom activity, co-cur-
ricular activity, and by lec
turing in classroom and
assmbly programs. Being
a capable leader is part of
being a well-rounded citi
zen, and here at Delhaas
we strive to develop good
citizens.
Much time and planning go
into a successful activity.
Here, Judy Vattimo, Fay
Bauer, Carole Thomas, Georg
ette Painter, and Doris Orr
listen carefully as Nancy
Nichols reviews the agenda
for the next meeting.
