The girls J.V. Basketball team worked
hard from early November through late
February. The team was made up of many
9th graders and a few lOth graders and
fared the handicap of competing against
girls from other schools with far more
experience. Despite losing many games
early in the season the girls persevered
and in the second half of the season won
three games. The following girls played
the entire season: Donna McLean (cap­
tain), Rennee Valeri. Patty Flanna, Juanita
Sawyer, Kathy Jones, Beth Lane, Lisa
Sommerer, and Kim Nelson.
