Education is the key

to the future, and we,

as teachers are the keychain.

"Cod placed in my heart the de­

sire to teach children. If it had

■ _ been my choice, I definitely

wouldn't have picked teaching.

I would have gone for some­

thing totally different, like inte­

rior design. But I love teaching

kids. I love being in the classroom and work­

ing with the kids. I worked with a second

grade class for my practicum. That class has

so much potential, and it was exciting to be

in the classroom and experience it. On my

last day there, all of the children hugged me,

and some were crying. It is an awesome op­

portunity to work with the second graders and

to have a part in their lives!'
