I HAVE TRAVELED WITH THE P TEAM
FOR TWO YEARS. I ALWAYS WANTED TO
work at camp because I was interested in full
time ministries. As a Bible major, I have learned
so much about the Bible. I never knew it was so
interesting until I took classes that made me look
beyond the surface and forced me to plunge to
the depths of linguistics and theology. I have
only scratched the surface, but I have a desire to
learn more. After graduation, I plan to attend
Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary.
PICKED T COLLEGE OUT OF A MAGA-
TNE SINCE IT WAS IN FLORIDA. I KNEW
Lothing about CCC. Before I came, a friend and
were praying that a family would love me as
heir own child. (Growing up, I lived with sev-
:ral people because my father was an alcoholic.)
A y prayer was answered. The Lord has blessed
ne with Dr. and Mrs. Gary Smith who have
aken me as their own. I have given my life to
he Lord and am striving to live more like Him
md follow in obedience to His Word.
WAS BORN INTO A CHRISTIAN FAMILY,
BUT IT WASN’T UNTIL I WAS ELEVEN AND
moved to Gambia, West Africa, that I really
started having a personal relationship with Him.
When I graduate, I will be going on to get my
• •
master’s degree as a Physician’s Assistant. I plan
to go back to the mission field and work in medi
cal missions. CCC has made a great impact on
my life and has shown me that I can make a
difference here in America and overseas.
