This year the O’Dowd mock trial team

had an outstanding season. Begin­

ning work in the summer, the team

flew to New York City to compete in

the Empire Mock Trial Invitational,

an international competition featur­

ing 34 ranked teams from around the

world. The Dragons finished in 10th

place, defeating teams from the United

Kingdom and Texas along the way. mm

Once the Alameda County regular

season began, the team quickly rose i I

to the top of the rankings, defeating i

Piedmont High School in the Philip A.

Harley Memorial Mock Trial Competi­

tion semifinals, and coming in a close

second place for the county. Congratu­

lations to the entire team and coaches

on such a successful season!
