O’Dowd has one of the strongest high school

music departments in the Bay Area. It has

become an extremely popular program at

O’Dowd for many talented students. In String

Orchestra, Jazz Band, Jazz Workshop and

Symphonic Band, students show off their

talents through their music, amazing all

audiences. In the Digital Music Studio class,

students express themselves through

digital music and explore the history of music.

O’Dowd’s Music Department grows each year

and is surely something that is changing this

school for the better.
