Algebra 1 to AP Calculus, each math
course teaches students how to
apply their math skills to life for years
to come. “The great thing about math,”
Lily Strandberg ’12 says, “is that people
fifty years ago at O'Dowd were
learning the same concepts and were
sitting through trigonometry class. In
a hundred years students will still be
doing math.” Every math teacher at
O’Dowd loves to teach this ancient
subject, and every student gains the
ability to take what they learned in
mathematics to life later.
