Language and Literature

Language and literature have always

played a vital role in people’s lives. At

Clearwater Christian College, this fact

is no exception. The Department of

Language and Literature aids students

in increasing their knowledge of these

two subjects and in broadening their

minds. With a knowledge of language,

students can better communicate their

thoughts, feelings, and emotions to oth­

ers. With a knowledge of literature, stu­

dents can enrich their cultural back­

ground and acquire a better sense of

listory. In addition, students are

offered an opportunity to learn a sec­

ond language. Headed capably by Mrs.

D. Macfarlane, this department also

includes Miss D. Engel and Mrs. M.

Werner as instructors.
