The majority of Clearwater Christian College graduates are

education majors, whether pre-school, elementary, secondary, or

physical education. Because of the rapid growth of Christian

schools around the country, more and more teachers are needed

who have a Christian education philosophy. CCC has developed

fine teacher-training programs to produce the kind of teachers

Christian schools desire. This department offers a two-year

Associate of Science Degree for the the Teacher-Aide Education

or Pre-School Education program, plus the Bachelor of Science

and Bachelor of Arts degrees in different areas of education. As

Christian school teachers are much in demand, CCC graduates

have excellent opportunities to acquire teaching positions.

Instructors in this department include Mr. Thomas Calnan, Dr.

John Roberts, Miss Grethe Fridlund and Mr. Ron Brown. Two

seniors this year are teaching also, in the area of physical

education: Jim Stadler and Renee Rebandt are in charge of

freshman PE activity.
