math-ers

some people, but to math club the
word meant excitement and fun.
Math club members took several
tests throughout the year, given by
such groups as the Atlanta-Pacific
Organization, math club was also
involved in contests sponsored by
other high schools.
The contest most remembered
by math club members was the
one sponsored by Omaha South
High School, in which Ralston
placed third.
To letter in math club, students
had to score among the school's
top ten on the Atlanta-Pacific test,
or have placed in the top three in
the National Math Contest.
Among the Math courses offered
were Computer Math, Trouble
Shooting Math, Algebra,
Geometry, Applied Math, Algebra,
Trigonometry and Elementary
Analysis.
