a good drill team member.
“ Generally speaking, the
individual on drill team has a
sound sense of rhythm and
flexibility," said sponsor Daryl
Taylor.
The routines were
choreographed entirely by the 20
members at 7:00 every weekday jpf
morning from September to
March. Depending on the number wL,
of home football and basketball
games, the girls performed six to
ten different routines. During
football season routines were done
to songs played by the band and
during basketball season they
performed to recordings of
popular songs.
Besides performing at home
football games the drill team
would stand in the bleachers and
do pom pon routines at important
away football games.
