Larry Hill summarized his
impression of the team. "There
were six letter winners from the
'80-'81 team that didn't come out
this year. The others picked up the
slack."
Hill didn't think that the team
would be as good as the '80-'81
team, but both finished seventh at
the state meet.
The season's highlight occurred
at the Papillion-LaVista Invite,
where the team won seven of the
eleven events and finished in first
place.
At the state meet the best
finisher for the girls was senior Lori
Cline, who finished fourth in the
individual medley and fifth in the
100-yard butterfly. The freestyle
relay finished sixth in the meet.
Coach Hill cited senior Lori Cline
and juniors Dena Bohrer, Kris
Naviaux and Therese Conway as
most valuable swimmers.
Perfect form. Junior Therese Conway is in the
middle of her dive. A one-and-a-half twist
pike position.
