MICHEL JEAN-BAPTISTE

                        45 Turgeau, Port-au-Prince, Haiti

FORM VI: Letter in Soccer, Basketball, Glee Club, United Nations
         Club, Junior Alliance, French Club.

Mich joined the senior class this year to
follow in his brother’s footsteps. Although
it is rumored that he flunked out of his
school in Haiti and had to come to M.B.
for make-up work, Mich has managed to ap
pear on every honor roll this year. To some
extent he has a physical advantage over the
rest of us—his wrinkled nose! Mich claims
that he cannot understand Mr. Raines and
his American spirit, but he manages to
match wits with the wonderhorses all the
same. Mich first learned about American
                                       ways  when  he  came  for  pre-season  soccer;
later in the season he won the left wing spot
and met almost successfully with "Twinkle
Toes” at Brown. One mystery remains, how
ever. What do Michel and his brother do
                                        on those Brown weekends . . .?

                                                                    9 Church Street, Providence, R.I.

During his thirteen years at M.B., Bob
has established quite a reputation for him
self. One of the flashiest dressers on campus,
Bob has attracted a large following of female
admirers. Unfortunately, Bob’s one true love
(A.N.) is the one girl who has ignored his
many charms. Always the optimist, Bob be
lieves that she will probably see things his
way later on. Since medical excuses were
hard to come by this year, he decided that
swimming was the easiest 'and most cleanly
fought sport offered; so he gave it a try.
Much to his amazement, he was good
enough to receive a letter. Of course his
height enabled him to reach the other end
of the pool before he started! Bob’s easy-going
nature has made him the first person to
ever sleep his way into college. He will
probably attain new heights wherever he
                                               goes.
