give blood. Hunter
Blood brings their mo
bile unit to campus
three times a year. Stu
dents, faculty, and staff
sign up for specific
times to prevent long
lines and insure a
steady flow of donors.
It’s a good
lood ... needles ...
habit to a tourniquet — to
see or even to think
start. I ’ve about any of these
done it items can fairly
decimate some
since high people. But not so
with members of
our campus family!
school —
since then Three times a year Hunter Blood
Center brings one of its six-bed
I ’ve done mobile units to campus to collect
it every blood. In spite of their busy
schedules, faculty, staff, and students
time I keep the nurses and technicians
going non-stop for the hours Hunter
am able. Blood is on campus.
Some may give blood as a
community service, but others,
through personal experience, know
that blood truly is life, and they want
to “pass it on.”
