room only as students and faculty
tried their hand at bowling. Sailing
down the intracoastal waterways on
the annual boat cruise was the perfect
ending of a fun-filled week.
For the first time, classes began af
ter Labor Day. We celebrated the hol
iday with a picnic at Philippe Park.
Few people thought about books and
classes — the reality of college was to
begin soon enough.
