Coaches Fritchman and Carr stressed hard work
and dedication as they prepared their charges for the
1979 season. The formula paid off for the Barons as
they came in with a very impressive season’s record of
12 wins against five losses and a tie. Only four seniors
were included on the squad in this, a building year!
