The ladies opened up against Piedmont onThursday, control­

faced off against Southeastern University in the quarterfinals and

lish a lead. Despite the outstanding leadership of the team's three

seniors, SU came out on top.

The men's team initially started out behind Toccoa Falls, but

steadily they fought back to take the win. Though their second

challenger, Wesley College, held the nation's number one ranking,

the Cougars exploded onto the court. They delivered dynamic

performance from the first minute to the last and seized the vic­

tory surrounded by tremendous crowd support.The team's strong

attitude and student body's boisterous morale swept on into the

championship game. There were suspenseful foul shots, and the
