Josh had never played the
catcher's position until this
year. Allan was recognized
as the best offensive player
at the end of the season.
With a team of
21 players, 2
redshirts, and 2
coaches more
men were in the
dugout than
were on the field.
Shelley Vetzel was the trainer for the team
and the only lady with a spot on the bench.
The team played mostly doubleheaders,
so after watching one gam e some players
would switch places and take their places on
the field.
