Nearly half of the student body had a job. It may have

been working a couple days a week for only an hour or two,

or working long hours, every day of the week. Jobs are

an important necessity to most college students. Some

students chose to work off campus, but many students

took advantage of the numerous jobs on campus which

made it easier for those who didn't have a car or couldn't

get off campus.

Some jobs were not as demanding as others. Alissa

Birchard was a checker for chapel. She said," It doesn't re­

because it only takes a half an hour every morning." One of

her favorite things about her job was getting to know many

students. "I like being able to put faces with names."

Naomi Ingram was one of the students who worked
