The DeWalt siblings— Natalie, Stephen,
Janell, and Ted—enjoy getting together
for lunch. Janell said, "I love having my
family on campus because it brings a
feeling of being at home. Being a fresh
man this year, it is so
easy to be homesick so
it's really nice to have
my family here." All were
students with the excep
tion of Ted who was the
grounds supervisor for
the college.
Living at home with your family is one thing, but I
what is it like to attend college with family? Having a sis
ter, brother, or parent on campus can be a blessing. Some
students even had grandparents on campus. "I really enjoy
having my grandparents [Dr. and Mrs. Lexie Wiggins] on
campus because of their love and support," said Josh Wil
son. Senior David and sophomore Bri Johnson were part of
three generations represented on campus. Grandmother,
Mrs. Karen Johnson, worked in the Student Life depart
ment, mother and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Jeanne Johnson,
worked in the food service.
Some students wished their siblings were with them.

Lucy Heinz said, "I cannot wait until my sister comes next being able to talk and laugh
year. We are already planning on being roommates! I think with her freshman sister,
