White Glove was a stressful day that came right before Thanks
giving Break. The stress of going to their room in the attempt to
quickly clean a mess which had taken three months to accumulate
was overwhelming for most students, especially the freshmen, but
quickly the students learned how to take jobs they disliked and
make them fun.
Joanna Wiedeman said that she did not like doing the bath
room floors. Faith Frederick agreed, "No matter how many times
you sweep the [bathroom] floor, there is always something on there
when you start to mop." Sabine Rheau, a senior, learned how to
get around it. "I vacuum the bathroom floor to get rid of the hair;
[sweeping] takes more time."
A way to make it more fun, as Kendall McGuire found out, was
to tie rags to your feet and go skating. "Cleaning the baseboards
for White Glove definitely wasn't that fun," said Natalie DeWalt.
Naomi Williams said that she used a mop on the walls and Tiffany J o e l Aliff cleans the air
