Miss Teresa Irwin " In the music department, we have
the privilege of working closely with our students in more
of a 'one-on-one' environment. I feel blessed to witnessed
first hand, the musical and spiritual growth of my students.
They inspired me and challenge me in a wonderful way!"
Her favorite class to teach so far has been Vocal Pedagogy
and Literature. She said, "The students are inquisitive and
stimulated to learn about the mechanics with regard to
vocal production. I was so impressed with their student
teaching presentations, as I could envision these talented
teachers of the future.

Terrah Leech "One of the lessons that I learned in college is that you
can never be too prepared! In the future I would like to be an elementary
music teacher. I appreciate all of the professors that I have had in college. I
feel like they have all had an impact on me in a different way. There is no way
I could pick out one of them who had the most impact. I was influenced to
study music by my high school music teacher. She taught me what it meant
to love music and want to share it with others."
Bryanna Wescott "After I graduate, I plan to teach
elementary and high school music. I had an amazing piano
4
and voice teacher who inspired meto teach music. As faras
being in college goes, the person who has influenced me
the most is Dr. Casarow. I have learned so much from her
overthe years. I am looking forward to teaching, because I
love working with young people, and I want to be an influ
ence in someone's life just as I had influences in mine."
