Long metal poles. A canvas tarp. A rubber mallet. Somehow,
                                                                                   these discontinuous parts were supposed to form a sukkah for
                                                                                   the entire PC . Things weren’t made easier by the lack of an
                                                                                    instruction  sheet  on  how  to  build  this  "hut".  But  over  the
                                                                                   course of the afternoon, however, the handy members of the
                                                                                    Hessed Forum, including their non-Jewish president and ad­
                                                                                    visor, put their heads together and built the sukkah that would
                                                                                    commemorate the 40-year strugglej^the Israelites in the desert.
