Goals may be ... when it comes to class
events like breakfasts
Junior Class President Gina O'Brien's goal for
the juniors is, “I'd like our class to be closer and
do more things toaether. Not just one group, but
everybody. That's what we were trying to
accomplish with the breakfasts,"
O'Brien found that after trying to accomplish
this, organizing a class breakfast is an embarrass
ing situation when only a few show up.
Even though being a class officer is
sometimes an uneventful job as Crinklaw
explained, "Really class officers don't do too
much. It's more a title than it is a job."
Junior officers get a chance to put their
positions to work by organizing prom to honor the
senior class. Crinklaw said that their job is to pick
a band, decorate; and help with programs and
invitations.
O'Brien's and Crinklaw's decision to be class
officers were, “I just wanted to get involved in
more groups other than just cheerleading," said
