ne can easily see by the
wreckage pictured in the top and
bottom left pictures that it truly
was a miracle that Jason came
out alive. The other car, a late
model blue Volvo, was totaled as
well — its front end becoming a
mangled, crushed, and twisted
metal sculpture; however, the
cracked front windshield re
mained intact. The driver es
caped with only minor injuries.
The speed with which the other
car hit Jason’s pushed his VW
off the road into the grassy area
of the City of Clearwater Wel
come Center. Jason’s car was
moved to a spot behind the
men’s residence hall for the re
mainder of the year and served
as a grim testimony to God’s
marvelous grace and enduring
mercy.
arol spent much of her time
at Jason’s hospital bedside. Her
constant presence was a big en
couragement to Jason, helping
him recover more quickly. Car
ol’s selflessness brought them
closer to one another. God used
a "tragedy” for good; Jason and
Carol possess a stronger faith in
God.
