s seniors come to the end of
their college careers, they
realize that in order to
maintain a consistent walk
with Christ they require a
certain amount of discipline
and effort. In this stage of
life, it is crucial to rely on
Christ through devotions,
prayer, church services, and
godly examples. During the
four years a student is at
college, the faculty and staff
provide the foundation of
these scriptural truths to
their students. The need for
commitment to Jesus Christ
intensifies daily. Students
find that the desire to serve
Christ deepens as they
realize the magnitude of
life’s tasks ahead of them.
Following Christ is a daily
choice to deny self and to
put Him first.
By the time they are seniors, students
have gotten to know some of the faculty
and staff members well. Miss Karen
Lovik is a new staff member, but she
spends some time with senior Rachel
Schroeder in her apartment showing her
how a dulcimer works.
