There is no “I” in team. Our amazing teacher and
assistant coach Mr. Thoene has nothing but positive
things to say about his hard working team.
An average of twenty-four students work their very
best to make Ralston proud and to show how strong
they truly are! “Ralston has a strong history of
wrestlers that have qualified for the State Wrestling
Meet," says Mr. Thoene. "The team is a small group of
guys who work hard each and everyday.”
Four great runner ups did amazing as they always
do, but these four made the crowd go wild! Senior Rob
Jensen brings a bit of “coolness” to the team with his
I awesome shades and his tough attitude.
Junior Jacob Cutsor reveals, “It's like a second
family, we all have each others back no matter what.”
! ISenior Alex Cruz often crushes the competition like a
bug. As Mr. Thoene puts it,“Our team gets tougher
mentally.”
Dajor Willis was the champion of a December!
tournament, making his mark on the mat with the sweat
of a Ralston Ram. Ralston High is a place to make
friends and to make a change in every step we take.
Junior Jacob Cutsor says that, “The thrill I get when I go
out on the mat... I can’t ever get that same feeling with
any other sport." Fie adds, "Wrestling gives me a feeling
to do great things for my future.”
According to Dalton Meadows, the hardest thing
about wrestling for him is, “Maintaining weight, even
though it is different for everyone.” Dalton Meadows
loves the thought of having power using his strength
and skill on the mat.
