Future Teachers of A m erica had a
busy schedule of a c t i v i t i e s all
c e n t e r e d toward preparation for
entering education. Mr. Fredstrom,
Mr. N e l s o n , and Mr. Duane
Petersen were guest speakers of
this o r g a n i z a t i o n which also
sponsored a tea honoring Ralston
teachers. Several members helped
in the e l e m e n t a r y school for
s p e c i a l events. Pins were pur­
chased with money earned from a
bake sale. The final event of the
year was a dinner held at Kings to
complete a successful year.

Future Nurses of America was a
new club organized to prepare girls
interested in nursing as a career.
In its initial year, officers were
elected: Vicki H usman as Presi­
dent, Vicki Ruhe as Secretary, and
Barb R a s mu s s e n as Treasurer.
Mrs. Katy Neidl, sc hool nurse,
served as sponsor for this club.
FNA visited various hospitals to
learn more about this occupation.
Thus, FNA completed an interesting
first year of organization.
