I
South Pacific was presented November 15, 16,
17, 1965. Long before this night, however, the
cast, the orchestra, the stage crew, the various
committees and the directors, were hard at work
         rehearsing. Rehearsals were scattered through
out the entire high school building. While Nellie
sang "Honey Bun" with the nurses in the music
room, Bolldy Mary was hard at work selling
coconut heads and grass skirts to the SeaBees
         on stage.

The three performances had their memorable
moments. No one will forget the one scene some
one almost forgot. Many will recall the fateful
"Honey Bun" scene when the "coconut" fell to
its doom. To top these experiences was the one
at the end of the performance--a very dramatic
scene--when two valiant members of the stage
crew held up a shaky flat to keep it from falling.

Anyone who had a part in this production, carried
with them after the last curtain call many
pleasant memories. It was truly an Enchanted
         Evening.
