Wrestling had its first season at Ralston
this year. The young team, gaining much
experience promises an improved squad next
year. The only regret in the newly formed
sport might p e r h a p s come f r o m the
graduating 'resslers who wish the school had
started the sport sooner.
Coach Bill Ruf has started wrestling all
the way down below the Junior High level and
with the help of the fine coaching of Coach
Ruf this will pay off with an never ending
supply of wrestling talent for this school.
The team p r a c t i c e d with the best
wrestling squads in the State including, Class
A State champions South, runnerup Omaha
Tech and many other fine schools which
added to the future experience of the team,
not to mention the new personal friends
aquired at these schools by each member
of the first wrestling team ever at Ralston
