Undefeated seasons eluded the B-Squad and
I Freshmen by just one game each. The Sopho­
mores finished 7-1 and were paced by the pass­
ing of Mark Pfundstein and the running of
« Greg Vannelli. Dave Cochrane and Pat Scallen
f were top hitters on the line. Coaches Art Ca­

halan and Earl Wetzel guided the team to an all
but perfect year, the only loss coming to Hill by
a six to nothing margin.
The Freshmen were initiated into STA foot­
ball with a 6-1 record. Top backs on the team
were M itch Zachary, John Hadro and Tom
Knox.
