Captain Tony Kieger receives advice from Coach Flynn.
Tony was ham pered with injuries and his talent was
missed: he was a defensive secondary stalwart and one of
the best blocking backs on the team.
Dennis Smith slams a Benilde runner to the ground for a loss. The linebacking
trio of Beardsley, Smith and Gonsior accounted for over 200 tackles.
Pete Lund makes a saving tackle as Ted Gonsior hustles over to make sure. Pete took
over much of the defensive back field responsibility when Steve Doyle and Tony
Chuck Kelly demonstrates his remarkable form as he Kieger were lost for the season.
