The B-Squad Hockey Team complet­
ed its season with a 19-4-1 record. The
team was strong at both offense and
defense, attacking with three balanced
lines and relying on the excellent goal­
tending of Pat Votel. Sophomore Jim
W arner led the team in scoring, and
top defensemen were Paul McHugh
and Bob Kleason. The young Cadets
had many impressive triumphs includ­
ing victories over every team in the
C .C .C ., South St. Paul and the city B-
Squad champions, Highland Park.
In its first year in C-Squad competi­
tion, the Freshman Team went 4-3.
Under the guidance of Coach Leo Col­
lins, both teams gained the fundamen­
tals and experience needed to insure
success for future STA hockey teams.
