Cap & Gown
Cap and gown. What can be said about it?
You go early in the morning, 7:00 to be
precise, to the cafeteria and have your head
measured by a very friendly man.
However, this year things went a bit differently. Some
people arrived at school by 6:30 a.m. to beat the crowd.
They were surprised to see, however, that the school had
accidentally double-booked the cafeteria that morning for
the selling of tickets to the Lionel Richie concert that
everyone had been talking about for months. The early bird
students arrived to see a three-mile line of Richie fans
camped out in front of the cafeteria. The unlucky seniors
realized that waiting to have their heads measured would
be hopeless unless they did something, and did it fast. The
plan they devised consisted of using a Lionel Richie fan s
body as a human canon, scattering the people in line, and

then talking Lionel Richie himself into measuring their heads.
And that was that.
