Volume twenty-eight of the CAUSEWAY
was published by Taylor Publishing
Company, 1550 Mockingbird Lane, Dallas,
Texas. 450 copies were printed. The 1993
edition was a national Sample book and
earned the Award of Excellence. The 25th
anniversary edition (1991) was included in
Taylor’s YEARBOOK YEARBOOK.
The cover is four-color laminated
lithocote and stamped with silver and teal
foil with a smyth binding. The theme
logotype is Burlington and Lithos was
used for the book name and year. The
foil-stamped endsheets used Caslon
Openface for the table of contents. Pages
are printed on 901b Inspiration. The type
used for the body copy throughout the
book is Fenice Regular. Headline text
utilizes Bodoni Campanile, Caslon
Openface, Fenice Bold, Geneva 2 Ultra
Compressed, and Univers Medium Extra
Condensed. Special headlines and some
initial caps were created on Pagemaker
and submitted as final artwork. Other
initial caps were generated as part of
typevision copy. Subhead text utilized
Copperplate Gothic Bold, Amazonia,
Fenice Bold, and Fenice Regular Italic.
Captions were set in Athena, Athena
Bold, Eric Medium, Eric Bold, Fenice
Regular, and Geneva Bold.
Various marbled papers were used as
the backgrounds for the opening,
dedication, senior section, the four-color
student life section, and the four-color
division spread. Graphics were prepared
by the staff and submitted as final
artwork. Combination screens were used
to create the type on four-color pages.
Special thanks to Mr. John Pantelis,
our Taylor representative, and Mr. Vic
Parker, our account administrator, for
their guidance and support and our

Dr. George Youstra extends warm greetings to the
guests of honor, board of directors, faculty, staff,
and students at the dedication ceremony for Mer-
ritts Hall on Friday, January 28, 1994. Congress
man Mike Bilirakis, Vice-mayor Art Deegan, and
Steve Jefferies of the Clearwater Chamber of Com
merce addressed the students encouraging them to
maintain strong Christian testimonies, to become
involved, and to remember the influence they can
have as Christians in society.
