A man is as great as the dreams he dreams, TEACHER OF THE YEAR
               As great  as  I lie  love he  hears;
             As great as the values he redeems,
               And  the happiness  he shares.
             A man is as great as the thoughts he thinks.
               As the worth  he has attained;
             As great as the fountains at which his spirit drinks,
               And the insight he has gained.
             A man is as great as the truth he speaks,
               As great as the help he gives,
             As great as the destiny he seeks,
               As great as the life he lives.

                                                          C.E.  Flynn
      I his poem reflects what hr. Donahue is as a professor and as a
      friend true greatness. I he Teacher of the Year award was
      given to f r. Donahue on Sunday, April 10, 19H8. He was
      nominated for this award because of his outstanding
      achievements and guidance throughout his twenty-three years at
      Allentown College. As a Politics student, I have been
      acquainted with fr. Donahue for four years and 1 (as well as
      my fellow classmates) have cherished those years with him. He
      has encouraged 11s to strive for our goals, to become stronger
      individuals, and to have courage to withstand any harriers that
      we may face. Not only has he guided us in a professional
      manner, hut also on a personal basis — he has been a true
      friend  to all.
      On behalf of my fellow classmates, I wish Fr. Donahue the best
      that life has to offer him because he has given the best to us.
      Thank you for everything Father — and Cod Bless!
