methods, they all share a common
goal. This goal is to provide the
students with the opportunity to ex
pand their minds.
These opportunities are provided by a
number of avenues. Of upinost importance
is the relationship between student and
teacher both in the classroom and out. The size
of the College allows these relationships to be on a
more personal level. Outside the classroom, faculty
members are very active in student life. They not only
work with students on different committees but also
advise many student organizations. It is also not un
common to see faculty members showing their school spirit
by attending different events such as basketball or baseball
games, theatre and dance productions and all those special din
ners held in the cafeteria.
The classroom is of course the place where faculty members are
most beneficial to the students. It is here that the faculty are given
the chance to share their knowledge and experiences with people w ho
are eager to learn.
