Being drum major life has to be taken seriously on the field.
O ff the field senior DaMicah Burtin poses every time he sees a camera. At
the last competition of the year sophomore Gage Fury slid a little to hard. For
the last song, the last note Gage slid his trombone and took freshman Elda
Flore~Adoko plume from the top of her hat.
Misspelling names is every announcers job. At the
Marching Band State competition at Seacrest Field in Lincoln, NE this
announcer pronounces Jepsen as Jesperon, even after DaMicah and Capron
was pronounced correct. "How could you mess it up that badly, the one time
they didn't pronounce it Cape~ron?" exclaims sophomore Laramie Walker.
