KAREN BETH ROSENBAUM
How can you describe Karen? Five years ago, Moses Brown gained a hardworking girl with a variety of
interests. Karen quickly became recognized as one of M.B.’s most devout skiers, and could often be
heard discusssing snow conditions and her apies ski activities. It is no wonder that she became president
of the ski club this year. On weekends, one never knows where Karen will show up next. Her habit of tak­
ing off to Connecticut still leaves us wondering. As an intern at WBRU, Karen some day hopes to be the
next Barbara Walters. When Karen leaves Moses Brown, her charm and wit will be missed by all.

I first got to know “ Mr. Fashion Rack” four years ago, while skiing the slopes of Mt. Mansfield in Ver­
mont. Since that time, I have become progressively enlightened as to the real person that lives beneath
Tony’s “ rakish” exterior. Tony is a learned scholar as evidenced by his being awarded the 1982-83 Alum­
ni scholarship. He is an avid diver who can always be found in the Cayman Islands (or at Brown Univer­
sity) searching for the wreck of the elusive “ WHOBEEBOOS.” He is a true aristocrat who frequents the
Biltmore Plaza on snowy December evenings when there is nothing better to do. He is also a
humanitarian who opens his house to the wayward dumb people of the world and who can “ distinguish”
a fire in no time. Most of all though, Tony is a true friend whom we can all count on. The whole Moses
Brown community will miss Tony’s easy going personality as the pinkish glow of his fluorescent tie sets
in the south. Don’t go searching for success, paisan, because you’ve already found it within yourself.
