JONATHAN PALMER SCOTT
“ I have a great belief in the potential greatness of people. It’s a Scottish trait: a sense of optimism in
the face of adversity.”
Stuart Adamson
“ Life’s battles don’t always go to the stronger or faster man. Sooner or later the one who wins is the
one who thinks he can.”
Rocky Bleier
“You gotta ask yourself one question. Do you feel lucky? Well do you?”
Eastwood
ADAM DAVID SHEPARD
Moses Brown would be amused to see a student at his school wearing a Mao jacket. His family did
make some money trading with China, after all. And he would be pleased with the person wearing that
jacket. Few have taken advantage of this place as Adam has, academically, socially, you name it. Adam
leaves M.B. as a fine student, a first class newspaper editor, a campus leader, even a varsity swimmer.
His greatest accomplishment? Maybe the running commentary for the Halloween fashion show. Find
me someone else who can find so many nice things to say about a ham ... The thing that I’ll remember
most about Adam? Take a look at his senior picture. See that shy, sly grin of his? What is this man
thinking about, don’t you wonder???
Sneds
“Let us endeavor to live that
when we come to die even
the undertaker will be sorry.”
Mark Twain
JACKY WING-KUEN SHUM
“ Don’t make it bad, take a sad song and make it better.” “ ... When the light is cloudy, there is still a
light that shines on me.”
Lennon-McCartney
“Don’t keep your eyes away from your enemy.”
Bruce Lee
“The most valuable thing is how you learn and do the best from your potential and what you got.”
Paul Donovan
To be different is a wonderful thing.
