The j.v. volleyball team had a
year of ups and downs
finishing with a season record
of 7-11. They began the season
with a rough start losing their
first three matches and then
bouncing back with a fourth
place in the River Cities
Tournament. They finished the
year in third place. Coach
Andy Parizek states, "Every
one played a key role in the
victory in the RCC Tourna
ment, and hopefully it will
impact the players in the future
on what they can accomplish if
they put their hearts and minds
to achieving a set goal." The
Rams never got above .500 the
rest of the year, and lost their
last four matches of the year,
but the girls have a good
chance of improving that
record for next year by having
a young team. Coach Parizek
would like to wish the girls the
best of luck as they push Jenny Lindstrom sets the
themselves to the next level of ball for one of her outside
play. hitters.
Freshman Jenny Lindstrom gets
ready for the kill while Lindsay
Barton w atches.
Freshman Mandi Isbell gets ready to
serve the ball as Ralston played in their
own invite.
Freshman Jami Novak serves it up during a home game, while
teammates Cassie Brown and Katie Connell wait to play defense.
