The j.v. softball team
had a very successful
year and even accom
plished something that
the varsity failed to do.
The j.v. team won the
River Cities Conference
tournament while the
varsity placed second.
The Rams went 9-1,
which is real consistent
with the records from
the past j.v. teams. The
future looks real bright
for the Ralston softball
program. Five players
on the j.v. squad
stepped it up and got
adequate playing time
on the varsity squad.
Freshman Angela
Palma pitched every
F resh m an A n g ela P alm a g ets rea d y to game for the j.v. and
throw her best pitch. Palm a lettered on was needed to pitch
varsity but contributed in every gam e for almost every game at
the j.v. team . Districts and State for
the varsity. Sophomore
Keri Bolte and fresh
man Lindsay Bredar led
the team in offense and
Sophom ore K asey Paige gets to hom e plate safe to be congratu
lated by freshm an M ollie Korgie. SOFTBALL-J. V. were called upon to get
the big hits at the end
