Varsity boys soccer was named
RCC tournament champions and
District champions. The Rams
held a huge victory over
Platteview in the District finals as
they defeated them 4-2 and then
made their way to the State
tournament. In the first round,
they defeated Platteview again
with a score of 4-0. After that
victory, they moved on to the
semi-finals where they were
defeated by the Blair Bears and
ended their season with a 16-6
record. Seniors Keith Sawarynski,
Mike Petrocchi, Chris Allen and
Phil Barajas led the team with
great leadership. Keith
Sawarynski led the team in goals
and Chris Allen broke a state
record in saves. The defense was
led by Dennis McGuire, Mike
Petrocchi, John Chaillie and Chris
Allen.
