Aiming at a playoff spot for the second
year in a row, the Girls’ Varsity Basketball
team, coached by Mr. Lelinski, had another
successful season this year.
Led by Co-Captains Flossie Micciolo and
Michelle Turk, the “Wilson Women”
highlighted their season with a 56-54 win
over Bensalem, a team previously undefeated
in the League this year.
Cora Leary and Michelle Turk, seniors,
led the team in scoring, while Flossie Mic­
ciolo, senior, and Terry Mancini, junior, were
the playmakers. Cindy Gourley, senior, and
Cherly Lelinski, junior, aided the team
greatly with their defensive work, scoring,
and assists.
