The 1979-80 Boys’ Varsity Basketball
Team consisted of eight seniors and two
juniors this year. The overall record of the
team was 14-9, placing it in 3rd place in the
Lower Bucks Basketball League. The team
was one of the representatives in the TIAA
Playoffs.
Some special achievements of individual
Ram members are: Dwayne Collins was the
second leading scorer in the League, as well
as being the second person in Wilson’s
basketball history to score over 1,000 points.
He is also a candidate for the All Lower Bucks
Co. First Team Selection. John Lewis was an
outstanding forward and rebounder for the
Rams and just can’t be topped on defense.
Coaching credits go to Mr. Massielo, Mr.
Waterson, and Mr. Frazier.
