Dear Student:
“Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen
that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me
there was no God formed, neither shall there be after m e/* Isaiah 43:10
Each member of the board and faculty are vitally concerned that you obtain the best academic training pos
sible here at Clearwater Christian College. As a Christian you should maintain high standards for the sake of the
testimony of Jesus Christ, not only in academic affairs, but in every area of your life including personal appearance,
conduct, and financial matters. While we emphasize standards, our primary concern is that you come into a closer
relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ while here at the College.
While learning about God's creation, it is essential to true education that you come into a closer knowledge of
the Creator Himself. It is only then that you will be an effective ambassador and witness for the Lord. We want
each student to serve the Lord and engage men for Jesus Christ while he learns. Scholarship and service are not in
separate categories for the Christian student and faculty at Clearwater.
As you are here as a student, and as you leave the halls of the college, we want you to remember that you will
be the object of the prayers of the faculty, the administration and the board. We want you to remember us in prayer
also, because the Lord Jesus Christ has said, “ . . . for without Me ye can do nothing" (John 15:5). And yet a corol
lary verse states, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me" (Phil. 4:13).
Let there be a sense of urgency in your life caused by your awareness that the Lord Jesus Christ will return to
this earth and that His coming may be soon.
Confidently in Christ,
Arthur E. Steele
