Mr. James  Wilson,  Assistant Professor of Mathematics, was one



                                 of the  founders  of  Clearwater  Christian  College  in  1965.



                                             Mr.  Wilson,  after  teaching thirty-three years  in  Shafter  High




                                 School,  Shafter,  California  “retired’’  to  teaching  in  Christian



                                 schools.



                                             Mr.  Wilson worked  his  way  through the University of Southern



                                 California by  driving  a bus in Hollywood and received  his  Bachelor



                                 of Arts degree  in  Mathematics  in  1928.



                                             Mr.  Wilson  was  born  in  the  Midwest  in  1900,  and  loves



                                 living  on  a  farm  away  from  the  city.  Besides  his teaching,  Mr.



                                 Wilson owns  farms  in  Oklahoma  and  California.



                                              Mr.  Wilson  married  in  1936  and  was  blessed  with five



                                 children  -  Jim,  Noel,  Linda,  Tom,  and  Wilma.



                                              Mr.  Wilson  has  coached  football  and  basketball,  and  is  one



                                  of  Clearwater  Christian  College’s  most  ardent  sports  fans,  to



                                 be  found  at  all  of our games.



                                              One  of  Mr.  Wilson’s  most  enjoyable  pastimes  is  reading



                                  Spanish.  Each summer  he  and  his family  travel to Mexico  where



                                  they  visit  missionaries,  churches,  and  sightsee.



                                              It  is  to  this  one,  Mr.  James  V.  Wilson,  professor,  husband,



                                  father,  and  friend,  that  our  1968  Causeway  is dedicated.
